At Putney Park School we consider the pastoral care of your children to be of paramount importance. It is essential that every child feels happy and secure from the outset of their time here. Great emphasis is placed, and time spent, on providing individual care and attention. This comes not only from pupils' immediate teaching staff but from every member of staff whatever their role within the school may be. This helps to develop a sense of belonging, achievement and self confidence in each pupil and enables us to instil the family values that are so evident in the school. Each child is nurtured, challenged and loved and will be taught values which will last a lifetime.
Good manners, good behaviour and thoughtfulness are encouraged at all times. Pupils know that there is always someone available to listen, encourage and advise. Open communication and mutual support between home and school is valued and maintained.
At this early age we aim to foster a love of learning, in a happy, safe and caring environment with high expectations. At Putney Park learning is serious but fun!
We believe that childhood should be a journey and not a race.
