At Year 7 we welcome a new intake of girls to join those girls who are moving up from our Year 6. Our entrance examination takes place in the January prior to entry in September.
Throughout your daughter's time in our upper school she will be offered a broad range of educational subjects enhanced with sporting activities and our celebrated performing arts and music department. Drama and singing is led by our acclaimed operatic family. We take full advantage of our small class sizes. Every girl, whatever her ability, is given the opportunity to take part in school productions as well as the option to participate as a team member in sporting activities.
The challenges of growing up make this is a crucial stage in your daughter's development. Girls require not only a high level of education but guidance with their journey into adulthood. We will focus on what is right for your daughter whilst at school and also for her future.
As a parent your goal for your daughter is for her to achieve excellent GCSE results. Our girls achieve success year after year within a happy and secure environment. Year 9 is the time when your daughter will choose her preferred GCSE subjects, from our wide range of subject options. Advice and support will be given to help in this decision making process.
Our extensive careers and further education programme will enable your daughter to plan and make informed choices for her life after Putney Park. At the end of year 11 our girls are welcomed into schools and colleges including; St. Paul's Girls', Putney High, Wimbledon High, The Tiffin Girl's School and Esher College.
